I am adding this recording Star Spangled Banner sung by Whitney Houston at the Super Bowl. The country was uniting together to battle a then perceived enemy after 9/11. It would be easy to go to all kinds of thoughts, diatribes, disillusioned rants, etc but this version of the says so much positive about my country that I ask, stand up put your hand on your heart and thank God for the gift of being an American.
