Governor - Milorad "Rod" R. Blagojevich

I thought I would comment on on our Governor and his ongoing self destruction. If you take a minute and look at the high points. Which are many so I went to Wikapedia to read his history which is interesting and for this reason, if for no other, makes one very sad for all the things that might have been.

• It is said that power corrupts, but actually it's more true that power attracts the corruptible. The sane are usually attracted by other things than power.

All the above old axioms seem almost inadequate or to be more precise trite, even if they reverberate with solemn sonority of timeworn sad truths, when faced with the Governors overwhelming self loathing and destruction.

I heard on the talk radio shows how people were celebrating his arrest "Christmas came early", "never voted for him probably vote fraud", "we will have to start calling Pontiac prison governors row", etc.

In my opinion we should view Milorad "Rod" R. Blagojevich with contempt and compassion for any man who who fails to see the difference between cost and price, right or wrong and convinces himself the world is shades of gray rather than black or white. You learn right or wrong at you grandmothers knee. Believing that your one step above most of the mortals of this world is normal, believing you are the superior to all mortals or that you are sent to save them, is mental illness.

What we should be doing is shedding a tear for our State and actively working to eliminate the system that produced and supported for two terms, an out of control, mentally ill Governor.
